Thank you to the New Freedom Lion's Club for your program, Give from the Heart. In the fall, they offered each class in 3 different Southern York County School District elementary schools $100 each to redistribute to the non-profit of their choice. Each class researched local non-profits, debated and voted upon a winner. Yesterday, Mrs. Taylor's Class at Friendship Elementary School presented the York County Veterans Outreach a $200 Check (with a surprise surplus from the N.F. Lion's Club) in support of York County veterans and their families. We are proud to accept this award and to share in supporting our veterans with these young Americans.
